Its official, Joe has approved it.
Here is your chance to road test your system!
The deal is, using the March Stock Tipping Competition entries, use what ever means you can to pick 5 of the most likely to finish in the top 10 stocks and 5 the most likely to finish in the bottom 10.

When all the March entries are in you have 7 days to enter.

To give your system a chance to develop your list you have until CLOSE OF TRADE ON the 7th of March to lodge your entry.

This competition is about developing the knowledge of systems so some comments on the system you are using is helpful but not obligatory


Points
Points will be awarded on the following basis for both bottom and top after the March tipping competition has been declared to get the point you dont have to predict the place just predict those 5 in the top 10 and 5 in the bottom 10

10 points for 1st
9 points for 2nd
8 points for 3rd
7 points for 4th
6 points for 5th
5 points for 6th
4 points for 7th
3 points for 8th
2 points for 9th
1 point for 10th


The winner will be the person with the most highest point score at the end of the March Stock Tipping Competition.

Prize
I will personally donate a $20 voucher to the winner to use in the Aussie Stock Forums Investment shop.
If there is more than one winner then the prize will be divided equally amongst the winners.

Lets see some entries and have some fun while we learn.

Yes, after the March tipping is locked off up till the deadline submit your entry in this thread

Just list the 5 stocks you believe will finish in the top 10 and 5 stocks you believe will finish in the bottom 10.
rember your picks must come from the March tipping competition list.

I used the Joe Bloggs system as a basis for my entry with some personal tweaking etc.
I will then collate the entries and allocate the points after the March tipping contest ends to establish the winner or winners.

Not being one to throw the cat amonst the pigeons but......

What you might want to do is wait until March the 7th, and then have everyone predict where the top 10 entries will be by the end of the month, or something like that. What your asking people to do is huge....Joe said he struggles to enter in 100 stock codes and EOD prices let alone actually analyse each of them.

Many people here trade part time and would not have time for this, the others here trade full time and would have no monetary gain from doing this, so its unlikely we'll get too many goers here unless we keep it simple and less time consuming, get my drift?

I appreciate that we may need to make some changes at some stage but I think I will leave it as it is for March and see what developes.
Systems by there very nature are designed to save time and any reasonable system should be able to assist you to predict what I am asking reasonable quickly.

What I can do to speed the process up is as soon as the March Tipping comp closes I will post a link to a downloadable excel spreadsheet with all the entries "stock codes and company names"

All you need to do then is rank them and pick up the top and bottom 5
Most people with a system will be able to eliminate the majority pretty quickly and then fine tune the balance.

and you have 7 days to do it.

If we are going to learn anything we need to invest a little time in the learning.

There are 95 in the list, please ignore the odd spelling error and I cant guarentee that I have not missed any,
Please use this as a basis for your picks
You have till close of trading on Wednesday 7th March to pick 5 that you think are most likley to finish in the top 10 and 5 that you think are most likley to finish in the bottom 10 and post your entries in this thread

To identify my pick I used the Inside Trader, Smart Money Analyser and a little research to confirm my choices.

In adition to that and to give it some reality I have allocated $10,000 to trade my top 10 pics over the month, I will start a fresh thread to note my buys and sells as the month progresses.
