lol, this is what I'm thinking. I think he's done something minor and now they are using it as a reason to get out of his contract.

The ARU have probably now realised with some of the young guns coming through he won't get too many opportunites and is massively overpaid.

I agree about him being a financial liability. I imagine his deal was as large as it was due to his commercial status, rather than his talent. Doesn't really matter why the ARU sacked him, as it is done.

Well he's apparenty being paid $700,000 per year - so yeh, maybe being a tad overpaid. He never struck me as being a paticularly humble guy whenever I heard him speak, but personal opinions aside, if it was dugs then pesumably the cops would be all over it.

Heard that he is going O/S to Japan where Eddie Jones is coaching director for Suntory. Doubtful if any NRL club would have the salary cap to fit him?

I really have no idea what he has done, i honestly thought he was , loyal to the game, kept out of the media , didn't play up and all in all a good rep for the sport , i can't wait to find out the truth.
