They have well and truly buggered up.

I could log on last night, but this morning it's stuffed.

One of my workmates who was with etrade before today can't log on to his account either.

I think maybe etrade shares will go down after today!!!! If only people could get in their accounts to sell.......

 
I think Etrade is not ready to get lot of data like this.
Their server seems can't handle.
Way to slow for a winning broker...
 

I tried last night all the portfolio seems to be there and i have tried changing my passwords in ready for today and logged on alright. And now i can't log on and can't even make a call to the customer service centre coz the line is engaged........ this is pathetic!

They had like more than a month to commission the damn migration of the "same trading platform" and they still can't get it right?

they keep asking me to log on again and again and again just to change tab from portfolio to account.
this is really annoying...
 
I'm an existing user of etrade for some time now. I have recently found out that while I can log onto the old site I can't log onto the the new site.
After 2 days on the phone I finally got to talk to tech support. They decided the problem was a known issue with my router (DLink 502) & I should upgrade the firmware. Have downloaded the new firmware but haven't done the upgrade yet to try it.
Can't see why it should take 2 days if the issue is known, also why isn't it posted somewhere if it is known.
Etrade is good when it's working, but customer service is very ordinary if something goes wrong.
 
I've been an existing customer of Etrade for a few months now. I cannot get online today at all, and site is lethargically slow!

If they don't lift thier game i'm out of there.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Can anyone tell me what CBH, TAP, and BPT are doing at the moment?

Im so freakned frustrated at the new directshare!@

its bloody so slow !!! how can they expect us to do anything when it takes 3 minutes to refresh the page!. another minute to place a trade!! this is not going to work!.

also, directshare used to show us the ask and bid price on the watchlist whereas etrade doesnt.
Directshare used to let us open more than one window which let me watch the market depth closely while placing an order.
Directshare is 10X faster!!!!

I just tried logging on then. Previously had no problem.
But when I logged in now I opened somebody elses account, The Munro trust> If this is you I updated your watchlist for you as I needed to know what my stocks were doing.
Your phantom portfolio has now 7million dollars.
Who ever this account belongs to they were very active thismorning trading in the likes of- MFI, GTP, WAT, SIP and OXR. All were going up so if I can get back into your account I will be adding your choices to my watchlist.

i been logout and login for how many times just to see market depth or using their TABS......
how can i get data at all like this...

I was a HSBC user too.

This morning I could logon but one of my stocks is missing from my portfolio yet it is there under the contract notes.

The site is a POS though compared to HSBC.

It is flippen slow and I hate how you can't list your stocks to pick which to sell. HSBC seemed much more slicker.

The biggest problem is this:


It seems the site is so slow that it thinks I'm inactive and logs me out.

This is a mess indeed. Haven't been able to get in at all. I'll be switching to a different provider. Class action suit, anybody?

Yeah, if you can got connected somehow.....
i have to wait just their representative is online ALLTIMES and listen to stupid songs while our money disappeared..........
 
BTW I don't think the site supports Opera, on my setup the top Tabs are missing.

ie: Home, My Accounts, My Portfolio etc etc
 
I've been using EtradePro for a while now, no problems here but I am logged onto the old site.

If anyone wants some quick prices etc feel free to come into the ASF chatroom and I can look things up until about midday before I have to go out.

Problem is there does not seem to be anyone to complain to.
ASX only interested if someone is insider trading or something like that.
If ASX wants to be a regulatery body it should be independant,not one of the rabble.
Don't really want to trade at the moment but I would like to check my details,and see how much I am down at the present time
