* Store refuses to put name on cake
* Kid's dad says that's intolerance

Adolf Hitler Campbell

THE father of a toddler called Adolf Hitler Campbell says it is unfair that a store denied him a birthday cake with his child's name on it.

New Jersey man Heath Campbell, 35, has decorated his home with swastikas and says he is related to a member of the SS.

But he says it is the store that wouldn't write "Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler" on a cake that should be showing more consideration for other people's feelings.

"They need to accept a name. A name's a name. The kid isn't going to grow up and do what (Hitler) did," he told the Associated Press.

But the ShopRite store that refused the cake request says it did the right thing.

"We believe the request ... to inscribe a birthday wish to Adolf Hitler is inappropriate," spokeswoman Karen Meleta told the Express-Times newspaper.

The store has also refused to make a cake bearing the name of Mr Campbell's daughter, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, who turns two in February.

Mr Campbell and his wife Deborah also have a daughter Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, named for SS head Heinrich Himmler, who turns one in April.

He said he named his son after Adolf Hitler because he liked the name and because "no one else in the world would have that name".

"They're just names, you know," he told the Express-Times.

"Yeah, they (Nazis) were bad people back then. But my kids are little. They're not going to grow up like that."

"Other kids get their cake. I get a hard time," he said. "It's not fair to my children.'

Mr Campbell said he didn't expect the names to cause problems when the children start school.

Moronic, arrogant, attention-seeking wackjobs. It's one thing to copy Hollywood and call your kids BathtubStrudelNoggin ... but this is a real step into child-abuse territory.

It's just a name....

It's just a name....

It's more than that. It's a selfish act that will have long-term implications for a child who is too young to have a say in the matter. Young children absorb much of what is said around them, even if they are unable to process it effectively. I hope the kid has thick skin.

Yes, it goes on tape and manifests at a later date.Maybe the school yard or social event.

:bonk::bonk::bonk:
Thats a funny one.

Only in America.

Actually, no.

Apparently authorities in NZ have started to take children away from parents who have called them stupid things, as they deem it child abuse. There was a high profile case a couple of months ago, where the name was too rude to be broadcast on TV.

Another funny one that I've heard though, is twins named 'Benson and Hedges'.

the thought police are hard at work making sure you don't express any opinions which may upset anyone. it is hypocritical in the extreme that in western society minorities can rant and rave about the evils of western culture and openly agitate towards its downfall while westerners have the fascist left (they seem to have gotten things a bit mixed up) scream down anyone who might object to policies of forced multiculturalism and white guilt.

it's a pretty bloody stupid thing to call your kid though.

Aldof Hitler is bad enough but what about the poor girl - Aryan Nation

:confused:What the?

That is just cruel and stupid.

Imagine what she will tell people when she's older - "Yes my parents are red necks"

Here Here

There is no doubt in the world that this name will cause serious problems for the child when he grows up.

This is tragic, so close to Christmas and , as my son F@ckwit Mugabe said; " More cake, I want more cake".

Why would you name your child Adolf? They're going to get a kick out of it in the short term at the expense of the kid's life. Their kids are going to be abused by almost everyone in school and life...and the kid will end up hating the world...

did we see the mum in this story,or was she out harrasing Jewish people.
short odds for these kids to be name changed later on.

The mum isn't quoted, but there is a small picture of the family.

The quote at the end is the most infuriating. "Other kids get their cake. I get a hard time," he said. "It's not fair to my children."

YOU DID THIS TO THEM!! Argggg!

At each birthday the parents of this unfortunate child should prepare 3 cakes.

One for the child.

The other two with lit candles should be rammed up the parents' coits until the candles appear coming out past their tonsils.

The day after each birthday they should be given a free choice to change the name of the unfortunate child.

gg

With a complete lack of foresight I named my son 2020 thinking it was an inspirational name. Now he has been expelled from preschool because he won't shut up and continually disrupts the class.

Maybe the father should change his own name to Richard Cranium Campbell
Probably already is

Not necessarily. A friend of a friend is called Adolf. I met him once and when he replied 'I'm Adolph' my reply was why?? He seemed okay and stable and not hating the world...
