According to one mainstream media report I heard, the recent fires have "completely destroyed Tasmania".

Really? Looking out my window right now it seems that Hobart still exists and I'm assured that Launceston is still there too. Yes the fires did a lot of damage and have affected many people personally, but it's not as though the whole state burnt to the ground or something like that.

There's no point watching the news if it isn't accurate. A point the major networks seem to not comprehend.

I thought Koshie aka David Koch was dead, but I just saw him on an ad during Midsomer Murders. I couldn't make out the ad as Mrs Gumnut has her earphones on so's I can't listen as she says I make too many comments during programmes.

Anyways, he's alive. Koshie lives.
