JBH - JB Hi-Fi

JBH beat forecasts and has declared a special dividend for the year of $1.03.
Not bad considering that consumer discretionary would be one of th first things to decline in a market with increasing living costs.

Consumers are still spending on electronics. Still a lot of cash in the economy, especially in the bansk of thse working in the building induatry and for governement.

I have a friend that works at Samsung head office and is involved with ensuring stock arrives to all their customers stores, and another friend that is a manager at a Good Guys. I regularly ask them how business is going, and they keep telling me that nothing has slowed for them, as quick as stock comes in, it is sold.

Biggest sellers for Samsung are TVs, then white goods. Their new $1399 watch sold out in the first week, new stock quickly arrived.
