Just when I thought that nation of obedient commuters and drinkers was coming out of the lethargy driven by the LibDems, it now appears that Miyuki Hatoyama, the wife of newly elected Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama is a complete and utter fruitcake.

She believes that "While my body was sleeping, I think my spirit flew on a triangular-shaped UFO to Venus," she said. "It was an extremely beautiful place and was very green."

She also considers that Tom Cruise was Japanese in the past and that they will make a spiritual movie in the future.

It is so consoling that the future of the Yen is in the hands of the spouse of such an ohming woman.

Someones wife is a fruitcake ? In my experience they all are in one way or another, I spent decades coping abuse for not respecting the recycle bin, even after I pointed out that they just put the whole lot in together with al the general rubbish at the tip anyway.

Most people are a little bit out there. Maybe it will help the new PM if he is as whacked out as the average Japanese voter. We could do with outlandish beliefs here in Aussieland. Politics is getting do he said she said negative boring as to be a waste.
