Just a guess but maybe the pages are cached and you need to press the refresh button?

I'm not quite sure what the problem is other than to also guess that it may be an issue with cached pages and if simply refreshing doesn't help you may need to do a hard refresh which involves holding down the shift key and hitting refresh on your browser at the same time.
If it is something else, any further information you can post may help to diagnose the problem.

This issue has since been resolved.
Surelle received an email notification that a thread she was subscribed to had a new post added. The problem was that this post was subsequently deleted by me and when she clicked on the link in the email she couldn't find the new post because it was no longer there.
This is quite a rare occurence but if it ever happens to you now you'll know the reason why!
