Wysiwyg is a known troll
To me a troll is someone who makes remarks or unsubstantiated claims for the purpose of luring heated discussion and argument to a thread, in other words a troll is a **** stirrer. I don't think you are but you didn't answer a question on another thread and that might have prompted someone to call you a troll.This particular poster called me a troll and in the interests of possibly bettering my communication skills I am interested in other peoples opinions on what they perceive as trollish.
tolerance is a two way street. that seems to have been forgotten.

I'm glad I didn't ask everyone what they think of me! You guys are harsh.

Go for it.
Oh I wouldn't take things too serious. The holier-than-thou, whingers, ignoramuses, rampers and bull dung artists all need someone to vent on.I'm glad I didn't ask everyone what they think of me! You guys are harsh.
Ouch!!By the way, you wrote a piece on another thread that has stuck with me ever since, this is what you wrote, your part in bold and italic letters, a troll can't write truisms like this:
Well not really. Usually one entity is intolerant of another's words or actions.
The answer is simple :- DO NOT infringe on other people's lives and treat other people with respect.
P.s. any above content should not be taken personally and is merely interest in topic.
Ouch!!
Yes I need to practice what I preach. Most of us here are easy going and hey, merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream.
Great definition. And Wysiwyg, since you have asked, yes, you are occasionally guilty of this.To me a troll is someone who makes remarks or unsubstantiated claims for the purpose of luring heated discussion and argument to a thread, in other words a troll is a **** stirrer.
Burglar, whilst initially you may have tried our collective patience with so many posts, not once have I ever felt you were in any way malicious or self serving. Neither have you ever, as far as I can see, infringed on anyone else's rights or been disrespectful.Whilst sleep-deprived, I have made an occasional post of which I am not so terribly proud.
I suppose that's all it takes to push some thin-skinned anti-trolls over the edge!!:
Dunno ... Just guessing!!
LOL! This is pretty out-there cartooningIf you behave like this, you are a troll;

Okay JuliaAnd Wysiwyg, since you have asked, yes, you are occasionally guilty of this.
I really think your understanding is very literal so you can't define the difference between word plays, riddles, jokes, exaggerations and facts, effective communication or experienced contributions.But maybe consider that people on ASF, as with any other aspect of life, have the right to be treated with respect rather than having you ridicule for reasons known only to yourself.
