Am I reading this wrong or is Shorten going to allow more illegals into this country (open borders) or is he saying to rely more on the turn-back policies rather than have detention centers? Hopefully it's not the former, because it isn't working out so well in Europe.

I stand by my belief we need politicians who are second born generations who don't carry the baggage of their or their parent's mother country.
Pauline Hanson calls for Shorten to end alliance with Greens
PAULINE HANSON'S PLEASE EXPLAIN·FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 2018
MEDIA RELEASE
One Nation leader and Queensland Senator Pauline Hanson has today written to the Labor leader Bill Shorten seeking an assurance Labor will put the Greens last on their how-to-vote cards at the next Federal election.
“By consistently releasing irresponsible thought bubble policies, the Greens have demonstrated they cannot be trusted. The Greens appear determined to drive our economy backwards, which will cost hundreds of thousands of Australian jobs.”
One Nation has repeatedly recommended its voters put the Greens last on their how-to-vote cards over the past State and Federal campaigns. Senator Hanson is now calling on the Labor leader to do the same.
“Australian’s have finally realised the Greens are not about saving dolphins. Instead, they’re about re-introducing death duties, decriminalising illicit drugs like ice and heroin, allowing unlimited numbers of refugees into Australia, increasing power costs through unsustainable renewable energy targets, eradicating petrol and diesel cars from our roads, shutting down mining and suggesting reckless welfare policies.”
“Bill Shorten needs to come clean with the Australian public now and reassure voters, Labor won’t do a dirty preference deal with the Greens in return for implementing their irrational policies should he become Prime Minister.”
The One Nation leader has promised that unless Bill Shorten offers a guarantee to her and the public, Pauline Hanson’s One Nation will be forced to place the Greens and Labor last at the next election.
Pauline Hanson said:“By consistently releasing irresponsible thought bubble policies, the Greens have demonstrated they cannot be trusted.
So we certainly don't need an Abbott in that case ?
It would be nice if that's what they spent it on. In reality, thats not where it will go is it?Because it's better spent on hospitals, roads, education, security.
.
Roads aside, historically the ALP spend more on these areas than the Coalition. It would be nice if that's what they spent it on. In reality, thats not where it will go is it?
Yeah its about ten times over priced.Roads aside, historically the ALP spend more on these areas than the Coalition.
Coalition usually just sell everything. Or cut funding.
Frankly, if Labor do save this 90 odd billion I'd rather they just retire some of the debt with it.
Well given that Malcolm Turnbull donated nearly double that amount to keep Tony Abbott as MP I'd say the figure might be closer to twenty times overpriced...Yeah its about ten times over priced.
$1 million for a 4 wall, straight gabled toilet block anyone.
“I am more that satisfied that Labor MPs through our vetting process will pass muster”
That's why people think Bill is a liar and wanker (like his predecessor).
Is that Children’s hospital open yet?I certainly hope Bill becomes P.M,it is about time for a reality check.
As W.A has found, there is nothing like a dose of reality, to bring home the obvious. lol
