Let me ask you all this question.

Do you think military action should be taken as a last resort to stop Iran developing a nuclear bomb ?.

On friday Irans President mahmoud ahmadinajad warned that Israel will be eliminated by one storm.

Iran has also warned that has 40000 suicide bombers ready to attack both America & Britain should there be a strike on their nuclear plants.

There is no easy answer , Stop them or let them !.

Bob.

Hmm.

It could be argued that we already have fanatics with Nuclear weapons.
Of course we have fanatics without nuclear weapons.

Both unfortunately would use them if certain circumstances arouse.

Global Warming,Green house effect,Ozone depletion,Black rain.Bird flu,Terrorism,fanatics.

Yeh we're stuffed so go enjoy it while you can.

I guess this is like, "should we go to war to get rid of the weapons of mass destruction?"
Bobby, if you had a clue about how hard it was to hide a facility that made weapons grade nuclear material you wouldn't be asking the question and you would not be worried.
But given the aerial photos previously touted by the US that showed Iraq had such facilities, I guess tech/a is right - we should all be worried.
Could Bush become the boy who cried wolf too often, and everyone stops listening?

As a quick aside, isn't it curious that Bush took to Iraq just before Iraq was going to sell its oil for euros rather than US dollars, and right now that is exactly what Iran is contemplating.

Lucky I don't believe in coincidences.

Re: Irans nuclear ambitions are Scary !.

Seems to me that the Iran, Iraq, Islamic centred discussions are all inter related so I guess the reply is on topic.

I keep getting the feeling that World War 3 has started and they are using guerrilla tactics.

The sad thing is that as is usual in modern wars, the civilians become targets because the rebels disguise themselves as civilians.

Example is the bombing in the Mosque, men dressed as women with bombs strapped to their bodies killing worshippers. How do the defenders of the law protect from these kind of people.

We are at last hearing from SOME Islamic leaders stating that this is not in the Q'uran, my reading of the english worded Koran is that they should tolerate other religions, not attack civilians, definitely not attack women or children and committing suicide is the worst sin of all.

How do they then explain their actions by citing religion?

I honestly believe that if the rebels in Iraq had simply done nothing after the invasion, waited intil the USA left, then had a civil war they would control the country by now. The USA wants out of there, but they want an honourable withdrawal (they don't want another Vietnam).

My opinion is more trouble to come, my hope is that someone gets sick of all the killing and starts talking.

Very well put indeed: I think the USA are bound to make a strike on Iran's Uranium infrastructure at some stage. When this happens, China and Russia will have to come off the fence and put pressure on Iran.

Hm, let me get this straight. Some countries are allowed to have the opportunity to develop nuclear weapons, and other's aren't. On the yes list we have India, China, Pakistan, the US and North Korea (but only because we are too scared to stop them). And probably also Russian states (all those Istan's) France and Germany. On the No list we have Iran.

Which is the only country to detonate a Nuclear device on another country? I'm thinking like TechA - we are all stuffed :(
