Yes TH we are here in Perth WA
We had to phone and cancel our orders.
IB customer service were surprised.

Yep first they said telstra customers are having problems but I'm on commercial fibre. Now they are saying TWS is corrupted but given up on that and looking at something else!!
 
I have three separate logins, 2 based in NZ, and 1 in Oz. The 2 based in NZ are logging in fine, the Oz one isn't...

I have TLS ADSL and 4G, TWS working with neither for Oz login only. Weird...

Anyone still having problems? Can you do a chat session and see if they can sort it. They don't seem to be able to see any problems

Yes TH - still not connecting. TWS login screen says "Attempt xx: network error, will try again in x seconds"

Yeah please. they seem to think its telstra problem. I'm not on telstra and just did a traceroute and it seems there is no telstra infrastructure used all the way to Honkers.

yeah except I also have direct FIX connection into HKFE and thats perfect. Not a dropped tick!!

Dmitrii I: Well it is a backbone problem there in Australia. And a lot of clients with Telstra ISP reported problems.

Here is my other connections. All good every exchange in the world exchange in the blood world except IBs log ins!

Always pleasant spending the afternoon trying to work out whats wrong with MY computers/network/ISP etc etc.

Could these situations be handled any better by IB and there customer service representatives??

I was talking to them on chat for almost 2 hours with no mention of anything but the problem is with my ISP.

Very frustrating....

Very frustrating. especially since they got me to reinstall a fresh TWS so you lose all your setting. F'in idiots!!!

Yup, they got me to do that...once. After that I backed up my settings weekly.

I had the same problem with TWS setting . I’ve just renamed the file
tws.mon.xml ( yesterday setting ) to tws.xml ( current setting) .
Lucky that works for me :D
