I think another couple of interesting tie in questions would be
How do you trade?
and
Why do you trade?
Im 27 this year, trade shares and CFD's using technical analysis and would like to get into forex in the future for liquidity reasons. I trade primarily to make money as I would like to give up working full time and stay at home to raise a family. I also enjoy designing mechanical trading systems.

A man after my own heart. Couldnt find a mechanical system for forex that I could backtest. I did up a pretty handy swing trading system thats largely mechanical though. Currently trialling through OANDA. They seem pretty good.
I dont know if anything besides swing trading or day trading would work with forex though.
I am 24, but will be 25 in june. I have loved the idea of trading since I saw wallstreet the movie when it came out, I mainly trade FX but using TA but I would like to get in to cfd trading the local market due to the local time zone. When trading FX it is best to stick with the US est time zone and use 8am (12am our time AEST) as you open for the trading day as this is where all the action happens when trading currency pairs relating to the USD.
K Joe. Not saying I'm that old but i do know there are some pretty cluey people in the 60-70 age group that can contribute a lot this board and society in general
I'm 19, I've only got shares in one company but I plan on keeping them a while. I can't buy any more shares because I don't have any more money (poor student).
Interesting results so far. Seems to be two main groups of very young ones looking towards their futures and a grouping of older ones smack bang in the middle of their wealth creation.
