Hey fellas, just wonderimg how the earnings announcements work. On bloomsberg it gives a date for the announcements but some companies still havent announced earnings. Is the date set by bloomberg a rough estimate or?

Thanks
Pat

Guess estimate based on prior year announcement, some companies do let he market know when they release their report a few weeks before hand...some publish on their investor relation site ...best to go to companies website for info...

I don't know why ASX doesn't have a fixed calendar for at least the ASX200. It surely can't be that hard to stick to a deadline.

They do have them end of Feb for half yearly ending 31/12 for company to lodge their report...
Not the exact date like you want them -:) it would be nice

The ASX does have deadlines for some things (like paying ASX fees).
If not met, the companies are de-listed.
