Personal lender Harmoney faltered as it hit the public market, the second fintech float in two months to trade underwater as investor sentiment remains cautious towards unsecured credit and the large number of new floats.

Harmoney, a personal lender with no branches, raised $92.5 million with an initial public offering priced at $3.50, a 3.5 times enterprise value to revenue multiple.

But the market pushed this lower on Thursday; the New Zealand-based company was trading down, recovering after going as low as $3.15, despite a beat on its prospectus cash profit forecast. This came in at $NZ1.6 million for the four months to October. Its total loan book is $NZ472 million ($446 million).
