Brad, your comments are admirable though I disagree on Prince Charles.

One evening we spent with the Family discussing horses and lineage of all things the conversation moved to Diana.

A Trickcyclist, quite eminent , was present.

The final combined opinion was that Charles had made a mistake in marrying a lass with a personality illness. Something about borderline or anxiety or some such.

She did carry on a bit before her demise in a Merc with that Egyptian fellow.

I would agree about William, good genes and a fine King of Australia in waiting.

David Flint would be happy.

Is it possible that the monarchy is becoming redundant in Australia.I mean most of the population wouldn't even know who the queen is. Also looks like the pound is losing its lustre. Not long now before it becomes euro.

Mate , most of our population now are engaged in a tryst with the excesses of capitalism that flow from the lack of a firm hand on the wheel.

Her Majesty, her Family and all they stand for will give a new meaning to peoples lives, corrupted as they are by Centrelink, Shopping Centres and vague self interested politicians.

I liken listening to the Queens message in a similar vein to the story that always gets trotted out each Christmas evening News, every station, and that is how the Australian Cricket Team spend their Christmas Day. I am a cricket lover, but sheesh, I really don't give a damn. Wonder if sour grapes will be on the menu for them.

I was recently privileged to capture the rapprochement between the Egyyptian Grocer M.Al Fayed and her Majesty at a reception at the opening of a swimming pool.

Her majesty hates these as she is unable to swim, Please don't repeat this as I heard it in confidence from the Duchess of Cornwall over too may G n Ts

It was a truly lovely Autumn afternoon, the pageboys were immaculate and the Egyptian behaved himself.

Her Majesty as usual was the epitome of decorum.

The tension was apparent as said Grocer's son had been in congress with HM's daughter-in-law, the challenged Diana., and they had both died in a motor accident just recently.

What a great lady was HM to carry it off.

Queen Elizabeth II will acknowledge that this Christmas will be a sombre occasion for many people hit by the credit crunch, according to extracts of her traditional festive message released on Wednesday.

"Christmas is a time for celebration, but this year it is a more sombre occasion for many," she will say in her message to the Commonwealth.

"Some of those things which could once have been taken for granted suddenly seem less certain and naturally give rise to feelings of insecurity."

The Queen's annual personal message is broadcast in full every Christmas Day at 1500 GMT (0200 AEDT

What a great lady.

David flint is so right to push for Australia to remain a monarchy.

What Republican could be so percetive of ordinary peoples woes.

How about this for a Xmas message;

Ron Liddle in The Spectator,

In the North of England a boy was not allowed to attend his school's Christmas party because his parents had insisted, ever since he joined the school, that he should not be required to attend lessons in religious instruction. The school presumably thought they were being scrupulous in abiding by the parents' wishes, but apparently not. The boy's mum, Dawn Riddell, was incandescent at the cruelty inflicted on her poor son. Christmas parties, she said "have absolutely nothing to do with Jesus."

We are fortunate she has allowed this years broadcast to be distributed around Australia.

My contacts in the Palace tell me that relations have become quite strained since a speech that Kevin Rudd gave at Buckingham Palace on Carbon Credits and Global Emission targets.

The enclosed picture was taken on my coolpix at the 1hour 23 minute mark, as he began to summarise the points he had already made.

You are taking the P aren't you GG, fess up, even old Madge would be starting to giggle at you now.

Boggo mate , your disrespect, though in the Aussie tradition of taking the piss, needs a firm answer.

I have passed your details on to Her Majesty via my contact in the Palace Ben Dover.

She is ready, so is he, but more of that later.

HM Christmas message as usual was defined by grace, understanding and charity.

What a great monarch of Australia she is.

David Flint must be erect and proud today, as he should be as her main protector in an Australia tending towards Republicanism.

She showed a particular infantalising tone towards HRH The Prince of Wales.

Below is an extract from the Guardian , an anti Royal publication which could not conceal it's respect for the Family.

The Queen's annual Christmas message, broadcast today, focused on the impact of the economic downturn, as well as conflict abroad.

This year's festivities had a more "sombre" tone for many people, the monarch said. "Christmas is a time for celebration, but this year it is a more sombre occasion for many," she said. "Some of those things which could once have been taken for granted suddenly seem less certain and naturally give rise to feelings of insecurity."

In another section, she said: "People are touched by events which have their roots far across the world. Whether it is the global economy or violence in a distant land, the effects can be keenly felt at home."

On a more personal note, the monarch discussed the recent 60th birthday of her eldest child, Prince Charles, while the broadcast showed previously-unseen home footage of a young Princess Elizabeth playing with Charles, aged one, at Clarence House in 1949.

The pre-recorded message, delivered from Buckingham Palace's Music Room, with the monarch standing in front of a grand piano covered with family photographs and with a large Christmas tree in the background, went out at 3pm on both TV and radio.

God you full of **** gg :D:D:D

So what's her New Years message - I'm sure she would phone you directly or at least email the contents so you can inform her minons.

Yes Prospector - sucking lemons!!

Green, her message is firstly you must realise to the masses.

It is not to her peers or equals.

Otherwise it would not be a message.

She commiserates with her unfortunate subjects affected by the global financial crisis.

She laments the loss of life due to terrorism.

These are all new messages not heard before from world leaders.

The Family I have been told had an agreeable Christmas.

Phil the Greek had a slight cold, and was a bit hoarse.

Charles said and did nothing.

The Princess Royal said grace.

Andrew, William and Harry spoke kindly of Diana.

Fergie played with her toys.

Edward flicked through old copies of Esquire.

The rest just sat back, ate and drank and thanked god for the fortunate fact of their birth.

HM is still concerned about the Czar's demise.
.
They are a fine family, an example to the world and I and David Flint will fight to ensure their continuance.

Green08 this very typical of your low opinion of HM. I have seen the tatt and it is not on her left arm.

I enclose a more uplifting photograph I took with my coolpix at the opening of the first Harry Potter Movie in York.
