I've been investing in Europe so far using a value investing based system similar to http://www.ukvalueinvestor.com. This system uses the past 10-years of earnings per share (EPS) and dividend per share (DPS) for individual companies to filter the market for likely companies for further analysis.

For the UK I get this data from sharelockholmes.com, for Germany from goyax.de and boerse.de; as well as looking up annual reports to fill in any holes in the data - but this is an extremely time consuming process.

I'd like to invest more in my home country but I can't find a source of this kind of data for Australian companies - does anyone have any suggestions?

I've kept All Ords dividend history from the old Tradingroom website.
If that's any help, here it is. Two sheets: full history and "latest" dividend, including yield based on then current share price; last updated in April 2014.
Sadly, Tradingroom has been discontinued, but you should be able to obtain newer dividend data (last 2 years) from the ASX website or any ordinary data provider.

and here is an update from September 2015.
Formats are slightly different because the data comes from a different source.
It may however help you fill the gap.

Comsec have the last 10 years of financials data re EPS Divs and much more fwiw

Just click company research / financials

Since the ASX changed their layout, bulk data are no longer economically accessible. I'm currently working on a program that collects the data from different sources.
Advantage: full dividend history (increasing file size though)
Disadvantage: I have to collate data from different sources, resulting in 2-3 times longer run times.
I'll provide an update when it's ready.

It's ready :)
