IB - $29 permonth?

IB has up to US$10/mth activity fee. If you spend more than that in a month on comms. you don't pay the $10.

You may need to pay for live data to whatever exchanges you want if you need to trade on live data.

For example, if you want live intraday data for the ASX you will pay $37.50/mth. Some market data such as spot FX and Sydney Futures Exchange are free on IB.

Esignal - ~$500 per yr data feed

You may not need eSignal. Don't pay for it unless you are sure you need it.

If, for example, all you want is end-of-day data for the ASX you can get it for less than $500/yr from Australian providers like Paritech or Norgate.

CoolTrader have end-of-day data for the ASX for $115 per year (7:30PM data download) or only $55 per year for 10:30PM data download. Much cheaper than Paritech, etc. I've used them for quite a few years now and have no complaints. Very good customer service too.

Seems pretty competitive price wise. Only $300 a year. Plugs straight into Amibroker as well.

Might ring them tomorrow and see if it includes Historical Data and what time the EOD data is available for d/l.
