I noted:
currently @ 17.5 cents .. but have bought them as low as 11.5 cents in the past ( September 2014 )
11.5c 10y ago and now 17.c
An catastrophe mr @divs4ever .
Unless it returned 8+% dividends each year, and even so....
Pure SP analysis on a long enough period wo looking at inflation and dividends are meaningless, but for the ATO which cripples you with CGT regardless of inflation.....for fairness and because we deserve taxes.

not so , i sold half the holding in April 2023 @ 70 cents ( when my buying average was a fraction over 20 cents ) ( well and truly getting the investment cash back )

and got my cash back dividends in 2021/2022 when they started paying those special dividends

and i still have half the holding ( which i hope to increase soon .. and possibly cheaper )

when they were just paying 1 cent twice a year , that was almost 10% return per annum ( on my average price )

and that volatility .. well that is often a mining stock ,

you should have seen the buying and worrying i had to do to get OZ Minerals into a very nice position , before BHP took them over , crystallizing that gain


Mincor not so much crystallized gain but still a gain at the end ( take-over )
