Goldsky Global?

sorry to be frustrating, @qldfrog, there's so much narrative its hard to encapsulate the full story. Suffice it to say, classic ponzi, there was a detailed list of investors somewhere but I can't find it again.

one person who didn't buy it:
Grace explained how Goldsky had models to predict human behavioural patterns that influenced markets. Fear and greed could not be codified. In her view, as a sales agent, it was almost impossible to predict how, when and by how much sentiment would swing. There was no algorithm in the world powerful enough to model this.

Yes, I followed the issues Joe had as well, classic Ponzi indeed
I am just wondering if he committed suicide or if he was suicided
I dodge a bullet myself:
Was talking to a reasonably well off friend probably 2y ago, about cash investment..pretty low td/ cash return at the time
And he mentioned he invested in property secured loans thru a financial company, not far from 10% return..10y plus history, no failing thru Covid, etc etc
Tempting, nearly not too good to be unbelievable
Felt a bit too good to be true plus wanted to purchase new ppor so put this on the backburner.
I believe this friend has 1m +capital at risk/lost, company going down, his money well down the list of priority creditors..he has taken a part time job and I would say the money is gone..as for law suits ..
I feel for him..
I think the official collapse has not yet happened but will not be long.
So these schemes are still going on and going on...
And there was no Dick Smith or Olympian involved.on paper it looked ok with recourse on assets etc..but the fine lines in FIFO access in case of liquidation
Beware beware
