Futures brokers?

Has anyone funded their account with AMP futures in AUD? After speaking to them they say to use correspondent bank (Commonwealth). I just do not know how to proceed with this (i am with a different bank). They are listing SWIFT codes for both Commonwealth and Harris bank in US. How the heck do we fill out the form from own bank to accommodate this without confusing everybody.

You will not need to enter SWIFT code if the money is coming from an AU Bank to another AU bank.

I recently deposited money via CBA direct to their U.S. account CBA did the conversion for me before the send.

Any benefits of going via their intermediary bank in Australia?

Yeah, that's the confusion, any bank can send funds overseas with FX conversion, no need to use intermediary whatsoever. Why they bother listing intermediary is the question...

AMP now is offering 1000 USD subscription brokerage....tempting. Even at 2 trades I'm paying 3000 Eur...

Makes we wonder though, maybe there is a cheaper futures broker coming and they want to lock customers in?
