Ok lets get everyone's minds ticking.I would like everone's personal ideas on mining speculators which have the most% share price growth in say a 3 year time period. So this is for long term speculators and is just for a bit of fun! It will be interesting to see what companies come up.Let's make it a top 3. I'll go with legend mining, western metals and new world alloys.

I'll go with:
TMR - due to the fact they are already in production.
PDN - i believe there's more left in it yet(not really speccie though)
RMI - plenty of potential

and with regards to how stocks are picked, YT could answer better, but from what i can gather is that you look at historical drill results to help calculate a NPV and then assess the current market cap against the NPV to see if there is a significant difference.
obviously this is an extremely basic explanation and other things such as costs and infastructure need to be taken into account also.

management can also play a big part in fundamentals of a company. if the management has a good history, it shos they know what they are doin and have more chance of being successful again.

EQN - expected EPS of 1.25 per share (price of only around 4.09 curently) by 2009.

A heap of copper and uranium with plenty more in all probability to be discovered. Has seen incredible share price movement since listing, but I beleive there is plenty more to come. Has risk, but VERY high reward. The only mining stock I have touched.
