Full of **** day?

i personally congratulate the mods for letting this run so far. typically it'd be dragged and the offender stood down for a period. nothing wrong with a little emotion (yes a little) if it helps explain your situation. we are all adults.

so mods, is this a sign of a little relaxing of the 'expressions' we all use on a daily basis elsewhere in life ?

It wasn't the fault of tothemax6, but the 'Ta tah' thread just kept growing didn't it. In the finest traditions of such threads as 'ASF Members Going Troppo', and this one. We've been battered around these many months by a cruel market, any wonder really.

Anyway while preparing the streamers and bunting, the cocktail franks and fairy bread for FOS Day on 1 Dec, it was discovered that horrors!, one of the patrons is on suspension! The Nun, gone to a holding cell in the convent of ASF reprobates?

This does put a damper on the event. Perhaps a live cross to the convent for a few words from Nun at some stage, whether in his cell or at the metal shop.

Full of **** day out dates as follows:

Auckland Friday 20th Jan 2012

Adelaide Friday 3rd Feb 2012

Perth Sunday 5th Feb 2012 (subject to arguing with the council and having a venue to run it at)

Those in Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne will be pleased to know that Big Day Out hasn't (at least not yet) removed 3 stages and cancelled half the bands performing as they have in the other cities.

Such a sad decline for a once great and somewhat iconic music festival and a timely reminder of how quickly just about anything can fall in a heap. :2twocents

Joe/Mods feel free to delete if not appropriate for this fine forum.

What day is full of **** day?

Today in numerous situations(internet/normal business/aquaintences),I have been told by varying "experts" how great they are and how there personal opinion was more valuable than mine.

I thought about it briefly then realised that perhaps maybe they were just full of **** in there obvious mission to convert me to there obviously correct opinion.

Just wondering is there a day designated on the calender anywhere for this so i can wear a party hat next time?

The hierarchy of everything in my life has always bothered me. I'm bothered by power. People, whoever they might be, whether it's the government, or the policeman in the uniform, or the man on the door—they still irk me a bit. From school, from the first nun that belted me—people used to think of the nice sweet little ladies—they used to knock the **** out of you, in the most cruel way that they could. They'd find bits of your body that were vulnerable to intense pain—grabbing you by the ear, or by the nose, and lift you, and say 'Don't cry!' It's very hard not to cry. I mean, not from emotion, but pain. The priests were the same. And I sit and watch politicians with great cynicism, total cynicism.

One of the funniest people on TV at the time.

It shows how straight laced we were in those days, banning him was as laughable and banning The Life of Brian.
