Ex Dividend strategy

Hi all !
I'm a newcomer to this area of investing and I would like to make a typical error in asking two dangerous questions for a newbie, does anyone know of an ex dividend strategy including the 45 day rule, to have a go at and is there anywhere one may find the dates that would be applicable for this without having to subscribe to a service ?

You can also use the 45 day rule.
