Dutch voters were the first to be called to the polls in the four-day democratic exercise where citizens in 27 EU member states are electing 720 representatives to the world’s only directly elected transnational parliament.

the so-called far tight leaders are just basically leaders that dont want to along with the global agenda of this clown world that is unfolding, basically have the opinion that men cant have babies.

in France, the Netherlands and Germany the farmers have been protesting for years due to the government trying to close them down and seize land and bankrupt them, since 2016 there has been almost an open border policy to central Europe of millions of African and middle eastern refugees, mostly, military-aged men that have formed ghettos and harass locals, knife, physical and sexual assaults are at record hight and the left wing governments dont care, best thing all countries could do is leave the EU

The incident initially took place in August 2021, when weeks before the country’s federal and state elections, Rotenburg AfD leader Marie-Therese Kaiser used government statistics to explain that Afghan immigrants have been disproportionately liable for committing sexual violence against women and young girls. Kaiser posted these statistics after it was revealed that Afghan migrant workers would be relocated to Hamburg.

Far Right ever closer to ruling France:
“I am proud of what have we achieved, but I don’t feel like celebrating,” Glucksmann said in response to the early results. “Everywhere in Europe, we are witnessing a wave that is shaking our democracy.”

I don't really follow French politics and have no idea where Le Pen *actually sits on the political compass, but what makes Le Pen far right.

It this actually true, or is it because the left don't like her?

@qldfrog ?

Ohh just that they have been fighting to stop migration and restore law and justice.
When Zelenski wants to push a million of people speaking the same language and same religion/culture out of his country, he is a hero;
When any European politician dare to ask the same with the millions of Muslim invaders, they are far right or nazi, it is well known.
Basically a french Melosi
BTW Italy not doing badly since she took power even against orchestrated EU pushes

Her father was even more out there but Marine has soften her position across the board as the world moved on and political reality kicked in similar to what's happening with Melosi.

Hanson is a total grifter but I wouldn't call Le Pen that however going by her polling plenty of Le Pen's views still remain on the fringes of French society.

What policies would you consider fringe?

Hanson is a total grifter
I know we're getting a little bit off topic here but I would say this:

I do not know PH personally nor am I a member of One Nation (I am a member of the Libertarian Party). But I am:
Friends with Malcolm Roberts and his family, via his daughter having been a client of mine when I was in Queensland.

Friends with the former WA state director and candidate for the legislative council in the upcoming Western Australian election.

Over the years we have also had Liberal Party family friends in both the state and Federal parliaments.

I can state categorically from my contact with these people that the One Nation people are far more genuine in their goodwill towards this country.

One may disagree or agree with their policy positions, but they are certainly not grifters in any sense of the word.

They are generally right of centre most certainly, but in no sense far right. In fact many of their policies are left of centre.

Just sick of idiots labeling everybody far right who aren't of the socialist/communist left.

Maloni has certainly been subdued by... Well the political process is certainly one of both deals and blackmail.

Some here may recall that during my time in the UK I was a member of a political think tank. From there I was able to see the inner workings of politics... It is BS on so many different levels, especially on how power is attained and maintained.

It led me to be extremely disillusioned and cynical.

Oh dear, the strong swing right continues, hand wringing all around.

Brussels: Far-right parties rattled the traditional powers in the European Union and made major gains in parliamentary elections, dealing an especially humiliating defeat to French President Emmanuel Macron.
On a night where the 27-member bloc palpably shifted to the right, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni more than doubled her seats in the EU parliament. And even if the Alternative for Germany extreme right party was hounded by scandal involving candidates, it still rallied enough seats to sweep past the slumping Social Democrats of Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

And there is that far right label again... LMAO.

The danger is that it is being rendered meaningless by overuse and could actually provide cover for the true far right to emerge at some stage. And I see that as a distinct possibility has Europeans see their culture being utterly destroyed by rampant immigration

ive got a lot of time for Roberts, as he is always respectful, well researched and greatful for the position.

hum some similarities but not exactly the same level of education/world knowledge, she would not be out of place as PM or president..after the policies some might strongly oppose but she has some serious brain.
It seems that you can only be a redneck nazi to oppose millions of muslims soldiers sorry young males landing on your shores yearly...

A little off topic froggy.... I was listening to a speech of hers earlier and her language sounded just a little different to what I am used to hearing. Has she got some sort of regional accent?

Not that it matters, just curious.
