Some haven't studied history and the bad times experienced by a lot of people. This is Hitler on a mass scale all over again. Just wait for the intafadas all over the world in the next 20 or so years - we've seen them in France, Australia, Holland recently.

Education is the only way to WAKE UP and see what the real threat is to the civilization that any investor or trader cherishes.

As a student of history, your understanding of history is amusing, if not obsessively alarmist.
I remain more concerned about the daily drive to and from work which kills thousands of Australians every year.

Can't see a problem with this as general chat. It is a problem that has to be faced. But then I agreed with most of Pauline Hansons statements. The major parties and the press distorted their content and made her a demon. Will there be a "Muslim" party at the next election and if so what are their real objectives.
 
Yes i dont see a problem with this being in the General chat forum, the War on Terror is being moderately successful because of such things as diplomacy, development, capacity building and military force, people seem to make the naive assumption because of this success that there really isnt a problem.

Captalism is one of the primary targets of the Extremist Jihadists which incidently is directly related to the theme of this forum.

 
I agree with Nioka and Numbercruncher. No reason this shouldn't be discussed under General Chat. I'm presently reading a book about the history of Al Qaeda - the author is an editor of an Arab newspaper in the UK - and it's fairly chilling stuff.

I find it quite fascinating that some of these organisations such as Al Qaeda can be shown to be the lineal descendants of Nazism.

A few highlights.

During WW2 the Grand Mufti Of Jerusalem, Al Husseini was the head of Hitlers SS Hanzar division.

Al Husseini is a prominent member of the Muslim Brotherhood, the parent of Al Qaeda.

Yasser Arafat was enrolled into Hussenis services services in 1946.

Saddam Husseins uncle and Guardian Kharaillah Tulfah formed the Arab league with Al Husseini.

SO nazism never really died, and these guys unfortunately where fed and helped at times by Western countries in there fight against communism !

Sorry, you're right. Poor form to make such a 'statement'. I couldn't write anything though as my teeth fell out.

No, I haven't read any of her speaches, written by David O, or whoever her latest 'advisor' is. I've only watched her dance on TV and be the covergirl of the latest Housewife's Weekly. She's one hot chick.

So, best I go and do some reseach. Sorry for the silly comment. I'm a bit Xenophobic you see.
