which one of the following are you?

i would consider myself an early bird:

go to bed at 10pm, get up around 8am usually..

function best during the morning up until after lunch..

i know some people that prefer to sleep until mid day and stay awake in the early hours of the morning

6 am Early Bird.:bounce::cup:
Bounce out of bed, eager to trade.

Wake up 6:50am to ABC NEWS RADIO finance report (1026am)

I go to sleep after Tom Petrovski's finance report on Tony Delroy's Nightlight (Nightlife?) at 11:55pm on ABC 108fm

Although sometimes I listen to 20 questions afterwards. :)

Definate early bird. My 20 month old has decided that 4.30am is a great time to kick off the day. I'm praying its a "phase" :)

Guess what bigt, It may not be a phase.

My little ones also use to be 4.30am risers, now they are a little older (nearly 3 and 1.5) I've negotiated a crack of dawn rise, so in summer this only means an extra 30 mins of sleep for me.

Nothing like kids to change your sleeping behaviour. I so miss a sleep in.

I feel like a freak up here for not getting up at 4:30, and being in bed by 9pm! As it seems is the majority here. It's great though going for a walk at 10pm at night, it's so quiet.

I'd probably naturally be a get up 9am, go to bed at 1-2am, but unfortunately work gets in the way of this :(

Im an early bird AND a night owl...

Hit the sack around 1am... up at around 7am....

Sleep about 5-6 hours... but a good 8hrs sleep feels good sometimes.

Been doing this for about 3 years now... ever since the little one came along....

Somehow, i function normally... (i think? :D)

My sleep patterns all depend on the plan on the table at the time or the pile of paperwork and correspondences needed to get through .

The only time it annoys me is when I'm only halfway or part way through and I hear those happy little bird chirps , soon followed by the missus asking what I'd like for breakfast .

My last dept. head asked me if there was anything I'd like once , I replied ;
" An assistant with 8 arms , 4 ears and no mouth ".

I didn't see him for weeks after that . :D

I'm a weekend warrior.

Monday to friday I'm in bed around 10-1130pm and up at 730am. On the weekend it's more like in bed at 3am and up at 1030-midday.

Having said that I was in bed at 1am and up at 430am on Saturday to drive to Mt Buller!

same - must be a common trait amongst us all!
Doesn't look like it from the poll results so far, agro. More say they are night owls. That definitely applies to me.
Really just don't do mornings.

Not me either...except that bit between 10:30 and 12pm called brunch :)

I like watching the sunrise, and just the general feeling of a new day coming, everything is so calm and peaceful in the morning.

Perhaps make a new poll entitled
"Whos more productive, early birds or night owls?"

I would say early birds ;)

Being a young gun I can get away with burning the midnite oil and going to sleep at 2 - 3am and getting up at 7:45am for work. Weekends are a whole new ball game...bed at who knows and not leaving bed until at least 2pm.

But on Sunday I try and get up by at least 10:30...can't waste both days of the precious weekend.

It's actually not good for you (lack of sleep)...can cause serious health problems

Definitely a night owl.

Bed around 4am

Wake anywhere between 8-11am depending on what I have to do that day.

Cheers

lol can relate to that

Weekdays bed around 2am - 4am wake around 9.30am (sometimes 10.30am lol)

Weekends Bed around 4am wake around 2pm

I find it fits in well with going out heaps as your naturally used to being up till late

I am a zombie if I wake before 8am, heck anything before 9am is a big big ask
