The investment strategy of Ellerston Asian Investments Limited (EAI) is to construct a concentrated portfolio of Asian Equity Securities using the Manager's high conviction style of investing which aims to identify high growth companies that are valued at a reasonable price. Unconstrained by benchmark weight, capital is allocated by implementing high conviction ideas from a filtered universe of Asian Equity Securities. The Manager utilises top down macro analysis and identification of thematics in the region and combines this approach with detailed bottom-up analysis via a conviction scorecard.

It is anticipated that EAI will list on the ASX during August 2015.

ELLERSTON ASIAN INVESTMENTS LIMITED (ASX: EAI) Special Dividend.

Under the proposed restructure, all Ellerston Asian Investments Limited (ASX: EAI) shareholders will receive a special dividend. EAI wishes to advise shareholders of the details for the Special Dividend.
The Special Dividend is comprised of a non-cash component being the Ellerston Asia Growth Fund (Hedge Fund) Units as well as any associated franking credits.
Dividend amount 8.0145 cents per share. 100% franked at 25% (franked to the maximum extent possible).
Franking credits 2.6715
Estimated conversion ratio 0.134546 Ellerston Asia Growth Fund (Hedge Fund) units for 1 EAI share

On June 5th, 2023, Ellerston Asian Investments Limited (EAI) was removed from the ASX's Official List at the request of the company, under Listing Rule 17.11, after shareholders resolved to remove EAI from the Official List of ASX and to restructure EAI by the exchange of EAI shares for units in Ellerston Asia Growth Fund (Hedge Fund) which will be admitted to Trading Status as an AQUA Product.
