And it continues upwards

.
The Russian attacks on Ukraine have seen drones play an increasingly important role in surveillance and adaptive targeting.

from 22 Jan:
Oleg Vornik, DroneShield CEO, added, “As drones continue to rapidly evolve, there is an ongoing race to detect and respond to those threats. Firmware upgrades enable our global community of customers to deal with the latest threats, and we actively collaborate with our end users to receive the latest field intelligence to base our algorithms on. These updates (together with our computervision AI engine and the sensorfusion engine) grow our SaaS subscriber base and are expected to become a major driver of DroneShield revenue over coming years.”

And it continues upwards
And today's news was enough for it to get as high as $1.10

NATO Framework Agreement Signed
DroneShield awarded first procurement framework agreement for C-UAS in NATO history.
• 3 year procurement framework agreement with extension options.
• The procurement framework agreement comes as drones continue to headline in armed conflicts globally
.

DroneShield gone a Cap-raising, with a $75Mil+ issue at $0.80c
Hasn't come out of Trading Halt yet despite having announced the details yesterday (April 18th).
Perhaps there's an alteration to terms? Perhaps an expanded offer to holders for a Share-Purchase plan (thus far, $5mil for the SPP announced)? Or some other factors in the CR yet to be finalised?

Or just taking their time? we'll find out soon enough.
So might be a good pick-up opportunity for the fence sitters, assuming there'il be some sort of retrace from recent highs of $1.12.
I've been fence-sitting for a while on this one - I'll be looking for the the open - Monday perhaps - see if I can be tempted ...

Hey Mr purple. Can you or anyone explain to me why my DRO shares are losing value while they are in a trading halt.

As it's in a trading halt until Monday, it hasn't traded.
The last traded price is $1.12 or thereabouts.

The indicative value is just an indication of what the share price would be, if it opened for trading with all the current orders that are sitting on order books (depth).

As the capital raising is at $0.80, I suggest that the current indicative price is totally irrelevant, and usually is anyway until seconds before opening (opening time is not set exactly as a specific time, it is + or - 30 seconds to set time).

Current indicative price may be shown as different by different brokers, depending on whatever...

Hope this helps?

NB; share price once trading again, will often drop or rise to around the capital raised price, as stated here is $0.80.
I'd expect a big slump on Monday morning, however, it will be interesting as Droneshield has become a market Darling of late.

Good luck in the shark pool, those waters are infested and teeming with biting critters.

Thank you frugal. I'm using CMC and for the last two days there has been a daily negative gain which I don't understand given the trading halt. If I understand you correctly that will be an indication of the trading price when the trading halt ends. Would it be fair to suggest this an estimated vale once trading resumes and that my share platform should suggest this? I'm just a newbie at all this that invested when the market crashed during covid.

Can you buy during a trading halt?

This is the market's circuit breaker
Importantly, these circuit breakers stop algorithmic trading computers from executing sell orders that may cause freefalls in the market. Although trades cannot be executed during a trading halt, investors still can place, amend, or cancel orders.

The pricing provided by your broker merely reflects an average of Buys and Sells that are placed. In reality, the pricing you see has limited connection with where the stock will open and then trade at, when the TH is lifted.

The recent SPP has been closed early due to excess demand.
Edit: The insto placement was increased from 70M to 100M and the SPP was increased from 5M to 15M.

There certainly seems to be a lot of demand for DRO shares.

Last closing price 0.83, while the SPP price was 0.80.

Volume on the rise...

Applications for recent $5M SPP total $40M. Wow, that's strong demand and the share price should be strongly supported at 0.80.

the pace of developments in Ukraine's war is real time, as you'd expect. There is a constant evolution to adapt to what the enemy is doing; frequency change, use of AI that presets and avoids jamming, single person vs group protection, etc

I wonder if the DRO and other suppliers of systems can keep up, or if their products are obsolete by the time they're out of the factory.?

For that reason, with public info unavailable, I don't hold.

One of my best trades of the past month, recovered from the capital raise.
A big volume day today..

Some key levels of interest to be aware of in relation to DRO, based on volume profile analysis and a potential bearish key reversal top established on 6th June:

Rising volume...

I didn't re-buy after selling when the price action showed me that it was going up again. A huge mistake. I'm very sad.
I've mentioned this in the Combo Portfolio thread.
