The same in the U.S the media and establishment is going ballistic to try and stop Trump being re elected, ridiculous statements are being thrown around even on here, yet if things are better under Biden he will be re elected.
Obviously things aren't better under Biden, or there wouldn't be the panic, logics really.
It's the same as here we changed Government for a direction, especially with renewables and the economy, we are moving along and time will tell if the public are happy.
