maybe chemist but sometimes success can be measured on a coin toss...everyone has there own idiosnychrocie's (?) one of mine being when making a major decision I'll toss a coin
As to going back to work there were a lot of other factors involved...one being the rugby season is nearly over and 2 I've grown a little beer belly
I still intend on leaving work to follow next year's rugby world cup and maybe the super 14 competition as well
I still dabble now.., mainly tennis and league but nothing close to the extent that I do with union .I still set myself limits and If I stick to them I can still gamble the next 4 years with losses b 4 cutting into profits
so hopefully my gambling career isn't over yet
Ps Regatwests my; sister is a veternarian that works closley with the racing industry in NZ and the US...I'm not saying the racing industry's currupt but it's definitely dodgey and besides that my preference towards sports gambling is that the odds are always 50/50

Ok Gambling is fun every now and again. Occasionally if I have the urge I'll put some bucks on a horse. I actually put 200$ on a melbourne cup winner back in the late 80' or early ninties. Can't even remember the name of the horse and won about 7k !!

Sometimes I go to a casino and play a bit of blackjack because it is probably the most metally stimulating game. Walk in with 100$ and if I lose I walk away. Also roullette can be fun. If I win say 50$ then I have a good night out. If I lose 50$ I still have fifty to spend and still have a decent time.

Pokies are a mugs game and dead set boring

And rather than piss my weeks earnings up against a wall I buy a tatts ticket once a week

I play lotto every week and can't stop now, because i know as soon as i stop those damn numbers will come up. Its all a conspiracy.

This is an interesting article on trading as a zero sum game, it discusses playing poker from a few different angles in that context, starts around p8.
