Hi
I'm new to trading and use a comsec account.
My limited stratergy is long term shares.
My problem is i work offshore and dont have access to the internet for periods of a month or so.
My biggest concern is if another GFC was to happen and i wished to sell i wouldnt be able to until i got home.
So if i own 5000 LYC shares that are currently at $2.02 can i put a sell offer in on comsec to sell them at $160 the price i bought them for? This way worst case i havent lost anything?
Or if i do this will a buyer happy to pay $2.00 will end up getting them??
Or do i need a progam that will put the on the market when the shares reach that price? If this exists can it all be done through an online server as obviously my computer wont be on???
Feel free to laugh and take the mickey then just give me a straight answer!!!
