What if I actually am a Jedi?
George Lucas simply studied the World religions and made his own secular version of spirituality (which is what I do). That's what Jedi-ism is. Star Wars is full of veiled spiritual references. see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy_and_religion_in_Star_Wars
On a different tangent, did anyone see Family Guy last night? It was the Star Wars version. Absolutely the best comedy on tv right now.
I will be replying on my Census Form in response to the question "do you have any dependants?"
YES ... 2 MILLION ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS .... 1 MILLION CRACK HEADS .... 1 MILLION UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE .... HALF A MILLION PEOPLE IN PRISON ..... HALF OF AFGHANISTAN AND THE WORST LOT 535 POLITICIANS IN CANBERRA
US citizens might need to live as long as Yoda to pay it all back in one generation.
I'm warming to this concept. I'd never considered Jedi-ism as a lifestyle.
Surely if there is any sense in things, things like Jedi and Flying Spaghetti Monsterism would be included as separate categories and grouped in with the Atheist and Agnostic categories. Why should the data be discarded? It is still meaningful data. A lot of people put things like 'Catholic' not because they believe in anything but because their family history has that religion in it. Surely that should be considered the bigger problem. But as always, common sense must be banned from these things.
Leia Skywalker Solo (born Leia Amidala Skywalker, also known like Leia Organa, and late Leia Organa Solo) ...... Geeeeeeeez I would trun into a Jedi for her.
