Came across this video of DIY camper van project. Had to say I was super impressed.
Hidden shower, hidden toilet, elevator bed. And many other clever ideas. Cool.

 
And then I discovered on You Tube all the people who live in cars/camper vans/ whatever full time.

Worth checking out the second video to see the young girl enjoying an open air hot tub in a snow and ice surrounded environment. Always something new

 
There's a car park down here that's full of them. It's the result of the rental shortage. Heard of a few young people doing it. Vans got really expensive for a while as everyone was converting them.

There's actually a community hidden in the sand dunes at the beach that live in tents.
It's weird seeing guys in suits going to work from their tents.
 
Just lucky we've got a reasonable climate IMO.
Wouldn't be a lot of fun at -10c, with a 30 knot wind and driving sleet.
At least when it's 40deg c, the guy is probably in the office and the partner is either working or down the shopping centre, WTF is looking after the tent.
 
@sptrawler The tent could become anyone's in a scenario like that.
 
They leave valuables in the car apparently. They form close net communities where they all keep an eye on each other's stuff.
