Convert to Islam...

The hour is very, very late. Hopefully the West is like the lazy student who ignores the hard assignment for a month and then gets the job done the night before with a superhuman effort. A UK under Sharia law would just no longer be a Western nation.
I'd like to think that, but am not very hopeful. The type of people who fought off the axis powers no longer exist in sufficient numbers... and those still around are villainized by the establishment and their apparatchiks (and yes that specific ten is intentional).

I think it will get to a point when the Enlightened West says enough is enough.
Too late already. They attained positions in power and will continue to flood the countries in question. They played the "racism" card well and the commies are onside with their system.

Naaa, this will play out for a very long time and you and I will be well dead long before it's concluded. It's been going on since Abraham was a boy.

When you consider that the mayor of London is a Muslim, that gives you an idea of how far they have intruded into Western society and that they will go even further in the future.

They have worked out, you don't have to have a war to win the long game, just move in and have a lot more kids than the natives.
The funny thing is, the natives are not only encouraging it, they are paying for it.
It's a laugh when the colonisers are being quietly colonised. Lol

There is a certain amount of self-reflection in the Muslim world as epitomized by this fellow. However it, at this stage seems to be a minority.... the distinction between the Muslim faith and Islamism.

What I find particularly concerning is that there are those in western culture, particularly on the "extreme" left, that seem to be intent unregressing to the sort of Middle ages mindset mindset this chap describes.

By the way Ayaan is an amazing person to follow; a true intellectual who has traversed from Islam to atheism and finally now to Christianity. FWIW

I went to a Bucks night years ago where the buck was a Muslim, I tried to convince him all night that he wouldn't die if he ate pork.

Anyway, there were 10 of us non-Muslims invited to the wedding ceremony, this was before the internet was popular and most of us were uncultured to the religion. We all sit through this lengthy full Arabic spoken ceremony not understanding one word and then go to the reception and we're all waiting for beer to be served to only find out it was a cordial event only. 🤣

I'm glad it was cordial, but bad luck about the booze.

Many years ago I knew a Seventh Day Adventist family (and and boy do I have many stories about that particular sect).

Anyway down in Serpentine, South of Perth they opened up a tourist attraction, primarily to attract the many Japanese tourists at the time but also the locals.

Because of their religious beliefs alcohol was not available in their restaurant....
....
....
Long story short, it went bankrupt.

Sidebar: The patriarch of the family ( a chiropractor) also eventually went to jail for fiddling with lady clients.

Religion in no way whatsoever makes you a good person. A topic we often talk about in our little group of "apostates". Nowhere way is that seen more than the most legalistic of religions, whether Christian, Islam or whatever else. It is the difference between a Creed and a profoundly and sincerely held belief, tempered with critical thinking.

Some of these religious sects border on the edge of being criminal cults.

My Mum joined a Christian group when I was a kid at about 13, the things I saw were beyond belief.

One day the priest came around home and asked my mum to sign the house over to them, mum basically told them to pissoff and we never saw them again.

Indeed. Religion, and probably especially "Christianity", does set up a framework for villains to profit from. It sucks.

I have opinions on all that crap, best plied with approximately 17 pints of Guinness. ;)

....or pay jizyah
from p934, of The World; a Family History.

"They were tiny street players, but Luciano knew that Sicily had a long history of criminal societies, developed among peasants, who, denied justice by aristocrats and kings, enforced their own rules, and created their own rituals that were pastiches of Catholicism, though the name Mafia may have originated from the Christian subjects of the Arab emirate who, claiming to be ma'afi or exempted, refused to pay the jizyah tax..."

History is complex.

Maybe for those in the UK, France, Germany etc who genuinely face being gobbled up by Islam, the best survival strategy is to create some weird sect of Islam that gets left alone. It's a tough one, though: if the tide turns, those who have submitted for an easier way are the subject of eternal scorn (refer to Yugoslavia).

All religions require some sort of mental gymnastics to require you to believe in them. This is why I am an ecumenical apostate, persona non grata with every church in my area... Because I have challenged them on many points because I have challenged them on many points especially during covid.

But imagine the mental gymnastics required to believe what this guy is preaching.

Geert Wilders going hard for the Dutch, as best he can, facing down the EU to try to bring in some very restrictive asylum policies.

I caught up with a (white atheist) friend last night who has a 17 year old son who plays soccer.

Last week she found out that her son had converted to Islam arranged by his soccer coach, but the parents knew nothing about it.

I assume 17 is old enough to make a decision for yourself, but: o_O  :banghead: 🤯

Young people are moving towards religion in droves. Even if in name only.
