Hi All

I have a stick of RAM that I cannot use at present and would like to swap it for a stick I can use.

It is a 1 GB DDR2 stick.
I got it without realising it is not compatible with my P4 PC, which uses DDR RAM (not DDR2), doesn't even fit in the slot (you can probably tell I only know enough about computers to be dangerous...).

So, if anyone has a 1 GB DDR stick and would like to swap for a 1 GB DDR2 stick, please let me know. The DDR2 stick is basically new, it was in another PC (and was not needed in it, which is why I removed it) for only a week or so, perfect working order. If it doesn't work I will happily swap it back!

I am in Sydney, but I suppose these things are OK to go through the mail ...

hey timmy - I have this : "1GB DDR 400MHZ (PC3200) Desktop RAM" .... samsung brand i think.

- I did the same as you - bought RAM too fast for my machine.
I can't use this ram - but have more likelihood of using DDR2 ram in my next machine.

Let me know if you can use it - and we'll figure something out.
