I sold them alot of load testing tools a few years back.

It is so easy to test and prepare for this. :banghead:

ASF is up and running smoothly in spite of the fact we have a record number of members online this morning. :D

well hey guys if only the whole ASX crashed then at least it would halt the bloodbath while people regain their emotions!

e-trade is working fine for me

not going to sell a thing though - it'll bounce back soon enough

as a long term investor - doesn't really worry me

Will be an interesting day for all the online brokers.

ProTrader is fully operational, but the Comsec web based site appears to be still experiencing problems.

The main thing is not to panic on days like these.

Could be some interesting buying opportunities, while this lasts.

Cheers,

It does reek - but you get what you pay for... You would think they would stress test for this... Well they are the ones paying the price i guess (all those commissions wanting), and it acts as a defacto circuit breaker...

I put in two sell limit orders and the market has moved up past them and they show the limits orders still not executed although they were in the market. I'm trying to cancel the orders to see what will happens. I can see that Commsec will have a lot of angry customers today.

Is your Online Broker Slow and mal-Functioned Today?

With Commsec, In the first 20min, I cannot do almost anything, even logout.

With Etrade, In the first 10min, I cannot do almost anything, but afterwards, I can do something.

Anyone can report better Online brokers? Thanks.

Come on guys, lets try and keep all the 'My online broker is all screwed up today' threads together please!

Thank you! :)

I've had no problems with Westpac (who have been upgraded from pestpac)

Bad luck they came up as executed. Mac CFDs is a bit slow but okay and Commsec CFDs is perfect.

If you want to log on to comsec use Mozilla Firefox... and maybe turn off your fire walls... worked for me

Using a particular browswer won't have any affect, also firewalls don't apply to external websites (only used for restricting incoming traffic)
