Looks like all data gone. I think I'll ring them at 1.45 or so unless someone already has??

They get their data from AspectHuntley don't they? The main AH Equity Review site is on and off today. E*Trade are experiencing the same problems.

maybe comsec and yahoo are sharing the same bug
yahoo shows asx200 at 48287000 up 287,000
WOW!!! Index traders of the world unite!!!

ComSec help desk astounded me by (a) answering quite quickly (b) not knowing about data not displaying. He said the phones have been ringing off the wall but it's mostly problems with ComSec Pro. While I was on the phone I got numbers to display then disappear twice with one company. Problem is logged; no idea what's wrong or when it will be fixed.

Now I'm going to look at the Networking thread, in case that holds all the answers.

Afternoon everyone :)

I just logged into comsec research via protrader and through the normal comsec home page.

The main view windows worked ok in both logins but there was more info available in the other research tabs when I was logged on through the normal comsec home page. I used CBA as my test company. Not sure if I am just lucky or if the problem is nearly fixed. But I've seen this occur every now and then and it's usually fixed by the next day at the latest.

In the mean time, if anyone is looking for any forcast data and can't get it from comsec atm, maybe try

http://investor.ninemsn.com.au/investor/shares/finder/default.asp

They also use Aspect Huntley data and so most if not all the free research data on commsec is also available there. I download bulk forcast EPS, DPS using the 'Advance Finder' button on the above web page.

cheers

bullmarket :)

ps.....thanks again to whoever it was that first posted the above link as a potential data source :)
