Hi guys, just a few quick questions; on the protrader website (http://www.comsec.com.au/professionaltrader2/PT2_Overview.asp) it says that to qualify for Gold you need 15-44 trades per quarter. By this, they do mean 15 buy or sell completed orders, yes?

Also, just wondering what your thoughts on this program are, and whether it's even worth getting.

Damn, any reasons given why? I was real excited to find out I qualified for a free program like that.

Or are there any other programs I can get that show what my place in line is that is cheap/free after a certain amount of trades?

A similar deal applies with Commsec WebIress, although I think it's a much inferior platform to Protrader.

It's been replaced by webiress, BTW nothing's free, the platform is paid for via juicy commissions, check out the commsec site for further info.

Alright, thanks guys.

I've done 8 trades this month already, if I subscribe to it will that mean that my first month is already free, or does it go towards the next month?

You might have to ask Commsec for that.

With Iress, you will be prompted to sign up again on the first day of each month.

The trades count from when you agree to the Iress subscription, a counter measures your trade level and qualification for free sub. Any excess trades in the month do not flow on to the following month btw.
