CGB WELCOMES TGA FINAL DECISION ON CBD PRODUCTS

Cann Global Limited (ASX:CGB) (Cann Global or the Company) is pleased to announce that the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has released its final decision yesterday on proposed amendments to the Poisons Standard.

The TGA has confirmed that it will down schedule cannabidiol (CBD) preparations from Schedule 4 (Prescription medicine) to Schedule 3 (Pharmacist Only Medicine).

In the final decision, the TGA has also increased the maximum daily dosage to 150 mg/day, up from 60 mg/day as proposed in the interim decision.

As noted in the statement from the TGA: “The decision will allow low-dose CBD containing products, up to a maximum of 150 mg/day, for use in adults that have been approved by the TGA, to be supplied over-the-counter by a pharmacist, without a prescription.

The decision limits over-the-counter supply to only those products that are approved by the TGA and included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).

The decision also outlines additional limits on dosage form and packaging requirements, including
pack size and child resistant closures.”

This decision from the TGA to down schedule CBD products follows the recent landmark decision made on 2 December by the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) to reclassify cannabis as a Schedule I substance, the least restrictive drug classification.

Cann Global welcomes the TGA’s decision.
Through its joint venture with Canntab Therapeutics (Canntab), CGB has an import permit for two Canntab CBD hard pill products for which this change is expected to apply.

Cann Global is working with
a regulatory consultant to prepare its application to register both products on the ARTG in the coming months.

There are currently no TGA approved products on the
ARTG that meet the Schedule 3 criteria.

Canntab is an industry leader in solid oral dose formulations of cannabis in exacting doses.

The hard pill cannabinoid formulations provide doctors and patients with a discreet, uniform dosage, medical grade solution.

Whilst the joint venture has secured an import permit to Australia, Canntab are in the process of securing their Canadian export licence which is expected to be received imminently.

Canntab CBD pills are
expected to be available in Australia during the first quarter of 2021.

Just on a personal note.

Wife has polymyalgia rheumatica a debilitating Condition which comes out of No where.
Treated by Steroids.
The side effects are pretty bad so we searched out a specialist doctor in CBD oil.

She is weaning off the steroids at 1 mg / 3 days and so far down from 20 to 15mg
and the results are really impressive.

I hope it all works well for your wife (and you), any long term illness is really bad.
Seconded.

The time taken for this rescheduling has been ridiculous. Considering how long ago it was that they made codeine based (NSAID's) pain killers not available over the counter but by prescription only.
It placed an immediate unecessary burden on the GP health system and alienated the majority of legitimate sporadic users, myself included.

The CBD announcements are very welcome and I personally am also interested, because inflammation and arthritis management are proactive to pain management.

I figure the next 6 to 12 months should see the cannabis sector ramp up overall.

Would expect an overall sector retrace from recent excitement however, maybe from February onwards one could expect some heating up across individual stocks based off announcements in preparation of product for July start of over the counter sales.

Having said that, am personally hoping for a bit of a short term run again, particularly on CGB, just to "lighten the load" from recent misadventure !

Yes that’s the one

Cheers .... I was told by a friend of mine a couple of years back (he is a qualified Doctor although works in another relative field), that Prednisone is the "drug of the century"

I have to say that my own experience with it (when needed) was of total agreeance.

As with all useful drugs, there are unfortunate side effects/restrictions/cautions to take into consideration etc but modern medicine in general is pretty amazing.

Best wishes to your Wife tech.

Mate, this is one of the few times I've bought and sold purley on the chart. Unfortunately I cooked the family a beef rendang tonight and I admit i drink a bit too much. So I will answer you soon because I would love hear your answer to my thinking if indeed I can retrieve it.

Good for sleeping, but when RA pain comes in the early morning even CBD oil doesn’t help me.

Not a cure but helps...be warned its gonna hurt. Might not work for everyone depending on your pain barrier and different types of arthritis

Do alternate day or two with painkiller, anti inflammatory, CBD oil. Soaking hands in warm water.
Open your palm & Stretching your fingers as far as it can go even the crooked ones than slowly fold your thumb in to your palm and hold if bearable, rinse and repeat.

Another one is to clench your fingers slowly into a fist and slowly bend at your wrist Be warned, its gonna hurt. You’ll feel all your tendons, muscle and etc. stretching with pain in the beginning

Works for me, doesn’t mean it will work for you.My crooked fingers are almost back to normal ( not 100%) and less pain & sleep better, stiffness less. Hopefully RA pain goes away for good.
I’m not a medical doctor, seek advise from your doctor

Just to clarify that I did see a rheumatologist. Was given methotrexate, it worked but had massive headache, brainfog and poor concentration.

Out of desperation and self experimentation I tried the stretching exercise.

flipping through old postings and found this one - a personal share.
Just curious TA @tech/a after about a year, how the CBD oil is helping Mrs T/A ? Any miraculous recommendations on CBD oil and hence the stocks.

CPH is riding on the crest and so is Evarblu.
Recently CPH has raised capital and out of which a substantial to go to Everblu.
Who is Evarblu - refer to this article on AFR back in 2018 and strong connection with CPH.
"The planned date of issue for 94,736,843 shares under the Placement is 1 April 2021. All of the other issues, being 23,684,211 options to placement participants and 3,600,000 shares to EverBlu will be issued subject to shareholder approval at a future General Meeting. The date of the General meeting set out in this Appendix 3B is indicative only"
In addition to this one - 6% commission. some great gun at the cost of shareholders -
b What fee, commission or other consideration is payable to them for acting as lead manager/broker? EverBlu will earn a 6% cash fee and one million shares per $5 million raised, being the 3,600,000 shares the subject of this Appendix 3B.
19 million dollars raised could imply Everblu potentially to earn 0.06*19/5 M = $228000 fee plus 3.6 million (about) shares for $19 M raised.

The condition she has is poly myalgia rhumatica
common for women more so than men. It’s been
6 mths on her treatment was 20 mg Steroids a day
coupled with CBD oil with the idea of weening off
the steroids

today she is on 11 mg and the same original dose of
CBD oil. I and she cannot see any visible signs of
her condition. Evidently it eventually goes in 12- 18
mths a bit like Ross River Fever.
We both think as an anti inflammatory CBD oil used
over a prolonged period definitely works.

The condition she has is poly myalgia rhumatica

My mother suffered from poly myalgia rhumatica for many years and was on steroids for at least 20 years. along with a shopping bag of other drugs to counteract drug and the next drug etc. etc. I spoke to my doctor recently and he believes CBD,s are going to revolutionise some medical treatments. My Mother died at 92 so you could say the drugs worked but perhaps its not how long you live but the quality of life you enjoy.
There has been a Youtube video doing the rounds I am not sure is you have seen but is quite remarkable.

All the best

Just surfing around and found your "old" comment @tinhat

Nice Sell and good call ;)

I assume it was the High Range Pin Bar which closed well down from it's high that prompted your assessment??

Well done.

Curiously, are you now considering a re-entry??:)
