Call for Thoughts - How Does a War Affect Capital Allocation Decisions?

and the national war debt repaid many years after that ( was it in the 2000's for the UK ) i suspect some , ( those included into the Soviet Union after WW2 ) might still have some residual debt

so am guessing having any capital resources after a major war , will be a major achievement for many ( a few will have Swiss or Cayman bank accounts , but the average Joe won't be having a happy time ) ( invading armies tend to pillage as they go )

Yes I think toilet paper shortages will be the least of people's problems. Most of what is headline issues today, would be meaningless if a war broke out IMO.
