I decided to put a “good till cancelled” order in to sell my token 7 shares for $200.

Who knows if it will get there, but I thought if it hits that level I will end my “curiosity” investment and roll it into my Berkshire holding.

In other news, I had a beyond bbq sauce cheese burger yesterday, it was great. (Vegan cheese ofcourse)

Ps. Don’t worry Ann, breakfast and dinner were more healthy, hahaha.

Who's a clever boy then?! :D

Hahaha, Maybe lucky is the more fitting word in this situation.

It ticked over $200 just long enough to process my sell order, I used the proceeds to buy some Berkshire Hathaway.

Since listing, demand for this stock has been amazing. Earnings coming up soon will be very interesting.

Not looking good for Beyond Meat. Should see Q4 results soon, below is Q3. The Company’s cash and cash equivalents balance was $390.2 million and total outstanding debt was $1.1 billion as of October 1, 2022. Net cash used in operating activities was $270.3 million for the nine months ended October 1, 2022....Capital expenditures totaled $60.0 million,
Their sales are plummeting, they're in the hole around $100 million per quarter... I don't see anything happening to all of a sudden juice up sales either, beyond meat is expensive (more than normal meat) and inflation is biting people hard.

I haven’t been following this company at all from a business perspective since I sold mine.

But, from a customer perspective the impossible brand is better than the Beyond in my opinion, and most of the places I used to buy the Beyond from now sell the impossible.

And I know one vegetarian who doesn't like their burger, sausage etc. to be too much like meat and prefer the many other competitors. The market has expanded massively.

My wife and I are both vegan, I don’t mind the stuff that tastes like meat, but my wife likes to be able to tell that her food isn’t meat, hahaha.

These alternative meat companies have a catch 22, they people converting from meat to vegetarian like their alternatives to taste as close as possible to the stuff they are used to, but some one who hasn’t eaten meat in 5 years can be turned off by the taste of meat.
