Buying ASX Stocks on Friday in a Bear Market

they SEEM to have the 'days off sick ' problem ( probably all that bloody testing )

A local restauranteur told me he can't get staff because the govt was paying them better money to stay away!!!

While it is tempting to buy some stocks which appear to be at incredible discounts from one month ago, two things hold me back.

• It is always difficult to catch falling knives.
• The American market will not close until Saturday morning, (and it is very much overpriced). And we follow the US markets just on two days later.

...... followed by .... 50% Off Everything ....
...... followed by .... Take 10% Off Already Discounted Items ....
...... followed by .... No Reasonable Offer Refused.

Bought some ETFs this morning. I watch US Market predominately, wanted to have a position in case this is the low. But I would not be surprised if market has one more down leg. If so, I have the rest of my fund allocation waiting for that opportunity too.

I figure with my investment time horizon of min 10 yrs should smooth things out abit.
