Love Borders for the range of books but comparing Michael Connelly books at Dymock's for less than $20, same books at Borders are $21.99. Recently picked up a travel book at Dymocks and compared it to Border's ... wah ! Borders has recently been bought by A/R ... but I would consider comparing prices of any books with other stores.

With apologies for being off topic, is there a new Michael Connelly book out, Weird? Title?

go to borders and become a free member. i always get these awesome discount vouchers emailed to me from them. Borders is my favourite book store.

I agree borders are more expensive,

In fact i only shop there to relieve them of any top shelf finance stuff they have when i get one of those 30% vouchers emailed to me.

Otherwise moneybags is better value.

Try The Book Depository in the UK - www.bookdepository.co.uk

For the books that I want I've found them to be cheaper than Amazon and they offer free shipping worldwide. How they do it I don't know (I've ordered some heavy books!) but I haven't been disappointed yet.

The recent 30% discount coupon has been gold, I really like Borders, but have noticed they are abit more expensive sometimes. Signing up for the email-outs is one of the best things I could have done, I enjoy book shops, and Borders.

My favourite book store in Sydney is, Kinokuniya on George St, they have more trading books than you can poke a stick at.

Julia, not sure about new titles of Michael Connelly, I am only up to number 3 of his series, Harry Bosch. Have really enjoyed the first 2.
