BLX - Beacon Lighting Group

staff didn't bother to come over and talk to me as I wandered thru the store

Probably one of their trade formatted stores as well as being 'click and collect'. ?‍? Being Darwin they CCTV monitor the entire store and recognised that you were an idle window shopper with no tool belt. Noticing your harsh and critical demeanour they hid from an obvious male Karen.

Shivers! I took my eye off this. There's been actionable chart events. Didn't get down as far as my desired level for a dabble but you have to be flexible. On the monthly chart BLX threw a nice hammer candle 5 weeks ago (typical of making a low) followed by a confirmatory big white candle. Looks like it has now moved outside its downtrend line after treading water for 3 months.
Dipped today which is not showing yet on the monthly. At $2 it is below my authoritative valuation (ignore any analytical blow-ins)

Nathan Hughes: I'd talk about the Robinsons, Glen and Ian, from Beacon Lighting. Another family business, and much like the Heines, they actually haven't sold a share since they floated the company; I think it was 2012 or 2013. A lot of the traits that I talked about earlier - like passion and attention to detail - but they just run the company with a very long-term mindset. They've done a terrific job, much like Scali, in a business that is cyclical and consumer-facing. They've done a great job over a number of years.
