Does anyone know what the Bloomberg Excel Add-in is worth? Can you get access to the raw data to export into excel without the Bloomberg terminal or any of its analytics and other software?

no you need the terminal and you need bloomberg logged in and running for it to work

Yeah I've expanded my search to the US for fundamental data since I'm just trying to conduct a research project / teaching myself VBA over the holidays.

So far I've found FetchXL which is way cheaper at about $4k a year but still not great. It would be great if they did ASX but its jut US and Canada.

I think it's BS that you can only gain access to this data if you are an institutional investor short of doing the data collection yourself from the reports.
