Bloody hell - another forum that thinks censorship solves all problems.

When will you guys ever learn.

if you want another nice little lame feel-good forum where people can play safely in the sandpit - be my guest.

If you want an honest and informative and hard-hitting forum - well, you gotta learn to let issues get sorted out.

The problem here arose because I was reminded to not make it personal - but you allowed a personal attack on me - what am I supposed to do?

If you're going to moderate -moderate and be even-handed about it!

Frankly - I've seen enough of this forum to do me for a while - you can go back and play wannabe traders as far as I am concerned.

All I am trying to do is keep the peace and enforce the rules.

No, censorship doesn't solve all the problems but neither does profanity.

I am not taking sides here, taking sides is not my job. Enforcing the rules and making this forum a pleasant place for everyone is my job.

Now if you and Wayne care to continue this exchange, please take it to private messages.

Otherwise, lets drop it and move on.

Bundy the issue here is playing the man and not the ball- and carrying on with it. You were hard hitting on technical trading grounds at the start and you are not the only one here who will be so- we just don't want people taking shots at each other personally, Wayne has apologised on his part and I hope you can keep it off the threads, by all means talk trading but do it professionally. PM is available and so is email for having a biffo but not on the public forums. Joe (the boss) puts in a lot of effort to keep ASF going and doesn't want this degenerating, neither do the members. Also, please see the link to the forum 'code of conduct' at the foot of this page- no one is forced to join but once you do we expect a minimum level of behaviour, even from battle hardened traders.

As you can see most of this thread is now on something completely irrelevant to the topic, really is a shame, we could have talked more about money management and options instead of each other if we'd stayed calm.

(Everyone should also note that Joe reserves the right to edit or delete posts- but it is used sparingly)

I'm happy to let the matter drop - I'll just make these final points..........

1.Wayne admits to taunting me and has apologized - I accept.

2. Maybe I should have ignored him - but after the moderator mentioned no personal abuse and then allowed such a comment - what am I supposed to do - the proffered protection of moderation did not materialize - so it was natural for me to take mattes into my own hands.

3. I tried to take it to PM - but Wayne had PM disabled - so much for that.

As far as I am concerned - the matter is now dead - but I guess people would have gleamed that I am not one to tolerate BS and cr*p.
