On the TV news tonight this prestigous footy star has been named as a child molestor over many years.
As a footballer was one of the best.
Now as a person is one of the worst.
Would appear that all the acolades he won over the years may now be taken off him, and rightly so.

A lot of North fans will be shocked by this. I wonder if those close to him knew anything about it. If true, his name certainly needs to be taken off the hall of fame. North aren't having a good year...

Not sure if these accusations referred to are when he played in the WAFL (Perth and then East Perth) or VFL but it was stated it went on for some years during his career, and one would have to think perhaps it would have been known by those closest around him.

On the TV news tonight, all reference to Barry Cable is now gone. He will never be remembered for the great footballer he was apart from perhaps those who actually saw he play.
As I said previously a great footballer,
but worst as a person.

I knew about the accident when it happened, but never knew until a couple of days ago exactly what happened. Pretty dumb for sure.

Nearly stripped his leg to the bone. Lucky it was only a little Red Fergie and not something that weighed a few tonnes more.
