Bad service in restaurants

you reckon AUS is bad, try and get beetroot on your hamburger in the US

lol..I like fresh beet, but find the sliced pickled variety not as palatable.

they also have a propensity for dripping/slipping from the burger and staining ones trousers etc.

therefore, I specifically request NO beetroot.

must be bad service in takeaways too, cause I am frequently left cussing, slice of beetroot in hand, pondering best disposal options

Any wait time over 40 minutes from initial ordering is unacceptable.

You were absolutely justified in being annoyed, and doing what you did.

My experience with dining out in Sydney is fairly mixed, but tends towards good service.

I eat out around twice a week, however usually only at places that make the "Good food guide".

If you live in sydney and eat out a lot, this guide is an absolute must. You can get it from any bookstore, or even better is the iphone app, which uses GPS and shows you all the places close to you wherever you are.

Quay very good service when they weren't mixing up our wines, however this worked in our favour because we got to taste both the premium wines (which we had paid for) and the standard wines. (which they accidentally poured for us 3 times!)
