Automated trading platform recommendations?

When you say an "automated trading platform" can you be more specific? Do you mean one of the micro investing apps/platforms that have proliferated in recent times, or were you referring to something else?

I have taken the liberty of giving this thread a title that more accurately reflects its content.

First we get the question, then a few days later they have found one and they go on explaining how good it is etc etc.

I can't recommend anything as I don't have any experience with micro trading platforms. However, here is an article that describes and compares the most popular micro investing platforms that are available to Australian investors.

It is worth pointing out that most of these micro investing platforms invest in ETFs, so whether or not it is better to invest in ETFs through these platforms, or directly by buying them periodically through a broker, is a matter for debate.
